August 27, 2021 at the S.U.Umarov Physical–Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan was held Scientific-practical conference “The development and achievements of physical science in years of independence” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. Prominent scientists and specialists of the country made their reports at the conference, including Academician of the National Academy of Science S. Odinaev, Corresponding Member of NANT T.Kh.Salikhov, professor S.F. Abdullaev, Associate Professor A.A. Abdurasulov and other scientists.

In particular, it was noted that during the period of 30 years of State independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the staff of the institute published more than 3800 basic scientific materials, including more than 120 monographs and 1200 scientific articles in foreign journals.

In total, during this period, more than 180 documents on the protection of intellectual property were received, including more than 140 patents and acts of implementation, as well as more than 40 certificates of registration of information resources in the National Patent Information Center of the Republic of Tajikistan and in the Federal Service for Intellectual Property “Rospatent” of the Russian Federation. The development of science is possible only in peacetime, where law and order prevail, which is ensured in our country and there are all conditions for teaching and conducting scientific research.
