On June 9, 2026, the 19th Forum of Creative Intellectuals and Scientists of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states commenced its work in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. This prestigious event was organized at the initiative of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic. The forum brought together approximately 200 representatives from the fields of science, education, culture, arts, and public organizations from CIS countries. The participants discussed important issues related to humanitarian cooperation, the development of science and education, culture, youth policy, and the strengthening of interstate relations.
During the event, the award ceremony for the International Youth Award “Commonwealth of Debuts” was held. It is a matter of great pride that Dilshod Davlatshoevich Nematov, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Head of the Quantum Electronics Laboratory at the S.U. Umarov Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, was honored with this prestigious award for his significant achievements in scientific research, substantial contribution to the development of international scientific cooperation, and active participation in the implementation of joint scientific projects.
The International Youth Award “Commonwealth of Debuts” was established by the Council for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States and the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States. Since 2008, it has been awarded annually to talented young representatives of CIS countries who have achieved outstanding success in science, education, culture, and other areas of public activity. For many laureates, this award serves as an important milestone in their professional development and the expansion of international cooperation.
In his speech, Dilshod Nematov expressed his gratitude to the leadership and representatives of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States for their attention and continuous support of young scientists. He emphasized that participation in international scientific programs, internships, and joint projects had played a crucial role in shaping his scientific outlook and advancing his research activities. He also noted that such initiatives contribute to strengthening scientific ties among CIS countries and preparing a new generation of competitive scientists.
On the sidelines of the forum, productive meetings and discussions were held with representatives of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS, leaders of prominent scientific institutions, and distinguished scientists from neighboring countries. In particular, Dilshod Nematov’s meeting with Academician Grigory Vladimirovich Trubnikov, Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, was of special importance for expanding scientific cooperation, promoting professional development, and identifying new areas of research activity. In his opinion, such meetings create new opportunities for the active participation of young Tajik scientists in international scientific programs and projects.
It is worth noting that the Forum of Creative Intellectuals and Scientists of the CIS Countries has been held annually since 2006 and has become one of the largest humanitarian platforms within the CIS, contributing to the strengthening of interstate cooperation, the exchange of experience, and the development of new joint initiatives in the fields of science, education, and culture.
