CENTER FOR STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES
(CSIRES)
At the Center for Study and Implementation of Renewable Energy Sources of the S.U.Umarov Physical-Technical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (laboratory of solar energy since 1980, laboratory of renewable energy sources and materials science since 1994), research and development has been carried out for 25 years to create elements and devices for renewable energy. The Center employs 2 Doctors of Sciences, 5 Candidates of Sciences, a group of experienced and young research engineers. For 25 years, the Center’s team has completed: 7 research projects and 3 grant projects. Concrete scientific and applied results are obtained. Films and heterostructures based on inorganic and organic materials and their composites have been created and studied, original structures and devices have been developed with the aim of using them in electronics and converting renewable energy sources. Single-circuit (according to the project and financial support of the MSDSP Aga Khan Foundation) and double-circuit (according to the project and financial support of the European Commission) water heating plants for hot water supply were developed, manufactured and commissioned. Solar kitchens and biogas systems of various designs were manufactured.
